Located in Eagle River, this single-family residential project overlooks Eagle River Valley and is one of the most desirable home locations in the area. This multi-phased project, developed by Jose Vicente starting in the late 1990s, has been carefully designed to incorporate the unique topographic features of this land and includes amenities as well as picturesque views that make this development exceptional.
The Terraces, Anchorage, Alaska
Located in south Anchorage on the lower hillside, this single-family residential project is situated on a site previously used for natural resource extraction. The primary challenges associated with this project included addressing existing soils, balancing the site grading and handling the project’s overall drainage. The development layout, which consists of curvilinear streets with detached pathways on both sides, has 40-foot building setbacks giving the project a sense of openness. These features, along with generous landscaping standards, make this development one of the most successful in the area.
Goldenview Park, Anchorage, Alaska
Located in south Anchorage on the hillside, this single-family residential development consists of half-acre lots with community water and sewer. This project was started in 1995 by John Berggren, whose vision included a beautiful New England-style covered bridge as the key entry feature to the development, which became reality in 1997. The site drainage created a design challenge, which was solved by implementing new and innovative green infrastructure techniques not previously used on the south Anchorage hillside.
Powder Ridge Subdivision, Eagle River, Alaska
This single-family residential project is the creation of Eklutna Inc, one of the top land developers in the Municipality of Anchorage. This master-planned community is one of the premier and most sought-after home locations in Eagle River. Providing a site layout and grading design that addressed the varying topographic features was the primary challenge we faced.
‘Iolani Subdivision, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii
This single-family residential project is one of the most sought-after high-end subdivisions in Kailua-Kona. The project was the vision of Mark and Cheryl Richards who put quality and thought into the project, taking full advantage of the amazing views. Maximizing each home site view was the major design challenge and was achieved by working closely with the owners and the team architect. The goal was accomplished as evidenced by the project’s enormous success.
